Hello Roger and creative company,

A while ago we spoke about how art afects the world around us. With that in mind, I shot a short vid as part of a video contest. I invite you to check it out and vote for me if you like what you see. Thanx.

How good can it get when we all start being thankful for what we are receiving?

I entered a Ramada video contest. It is called DO YOUR THING and the task was to shoot a video that reflects what you are passionate about. Mine was music - combined with passion for living life with appreciation (including all that surrounds me...true oneness). The result was a video that became one of the 20 that judges liked. Now is the voting stage and I need your help to vote for me and help get the message of thankfulness to Ramada and beyond.

I appreciate your love and support.

The video reflects my passion for music and our planet Earth. It was shot here in Zagreb, Croatia, where I am visiting currently, through the summer.

My intention is to win the contest and reaffirm the message to Ramada and the world that THANKFULNESS (for our families, parents, brothers, sisters, friends, animals, nature, planet - with everything on it) is essential part of life. Once we practice it more often, we will be more empowered and connected.

a painting of me by Jeff Parise...

My friend Jeff Parise asked me to pose for an art session in which he did a portrait of me... I was flattered because I have seen and liked some of his works depicting several people I know... and so he did this painting of me.... It's interesteing when an artist does a portrait of you because sometimes they see things about you that reveal different views and interpretations about a person...

I see a lot of things about me in this painting.... and had a really interesting coversation with Jeff about what I saw as well as things he saw when he was painting me.... but I was just curious as to what others (who somewhat know me) see.... So I thought I'd post this painting here and ask what you see of me in this artwork.....

OK here we go .... a new Ogie art project is in the midst... take a peek at the concept and if you're interested in participating reply here!!!

PEEPSHOW is a project with peeps in mind.... You know... those ridiculous sugary marshmallow treats made to look like pink and yellow bunnies and chics during the Easter Season.. often stuck together for you to rip em apart and chew and swallow them up til your sick in the stomache..... You gotta love (or love to hate) those peeps! How does a creative Ogie get involved in this project???.... by using Peeps as your muse..... any medium.... as long as it's showcase of art featuring Peeps..... You can draw peeps, paint peeps, make marshmallow sculptures in honour of peeps, offer peep songs, make a peep docu-drama... fashionably dress up a peep in its' Sunday best, photograph peeps, how about peep jewelry to be worn out on the town? Anything goes in this peep show.....!!!!

and the deadline to submit your peep art in this PEEPSHOW? Why, have them in by Easter weekend!!!! (which is any of these 3 days.... Fri March 21, Sat 22nd, and 'Easter' Sun 23rd-)

I think it's time for another Ogie Art project... and since Valentines is approaching I thought we'll make it about love... so here we go

WHAT ABOUT LOVE?

that's the title of the open ended art project for any participating Ogie to take part in... All you need to do is interpret the title and do something creative with it ... in your own way using your own ideas and artistic vision to express it... It could be as simple as your own Valentine art... or some love poetry... or maybe some anti-love art?... portraits of lovers? thoughts on sex? short stories? etc etc...

all you do is create you own works of art that fits "What About Love?" and on FEBUARY 14th post it either here vis this thread OR in the Ogie album...

Anger Busters For Everyday Life

Speak kindly to someone who's angry with you.

If someone has a complaint against you, really stop and listen.

Find 3 things you really like and respect about your opponent.

Give someone you are upset with the benefit of the doubt.

If you are right in a dispute, give up being right (for that moment, or day). Let the other person keep his/her pride.

If two people you know are in a fight, speak well of each one of them to the other.

Originally, the Paraffin was in pellet form, but due to heat exposure,

looking into the experiences from Presentation Ogie past and all the creative exchanges, topic explorations, people and events that we've taken part of and enjoyed... it leaves me a little nostalgic and thinking of the good ol times of active Ogie encounters....

I decided to post a FREE online movies thread... So for those computer die hards that would actually watch their monitor for the full run of a movie... here's your chance to post and/or find movies that Ogies have enjoyed (well at least the Ogies that posted them anyways)....

OK ... I made up a random Ogie game... to be played by any of you Ogies out there (so if you're a member of this tribe... you qualify to play this game... if you're reading this and you're not a member... what's you waiting for??? join this tribe and be an Ogie!!)

the rules are simple....

look at the last comment on this thread. (the one made by one of us Ogies) If you're ready to play this game- this Ogie is considered "THE OGIE ABOVE YOU"

- All you need to do is make a comment about that particular Ogie as the next comment on this thread (if you know nothing about that Ogie.. then do your research and click onto his or her profile to find something about them to comment on) .... that's it..! simple rules huh?.....

So what happens next? Well for the next Ogie to play.. if you are the last one to post a comment..... then YOU are now considered "THE OGIE ABOVE YOU" and the next person to play must make a comment about you....

The more you make comments- the more chances for comment to be made about YOU...

That's the game... OK so if you are all set to play... then find THE OGIE ABOVE YOU!!!! (if no one has played this game yet... then I (((Roger))) is considered the ogie above you and you comment about me--- and so on and so forth---

grey cloud.....

I've been in this grey cloud lately... not feeling my best... not exactly sure why....

some have said Mercury's in retrograde and it's been affecting a lot of people
maybe I just need motivation and inspiration

not sure .... but at the present time the grey cloud is hovering in my general direction.... so I thought I'd make a post...

What suggestions do you have to clear a grey cloud?
